-ology is another. The former CCO at the promotions agency I work for can't get enough. Every brainstorm she'd pitch "the art of mixology" or drinkology or dancology or mobilology or mall-ology. I thought she hated me - she certainly hated my ideas, until I submitted a list of headlines where 5 of the 6 contained different -ology words (i was frustrated and being sarcastic). "These are great! Fantastic job!" More proof that I have sold my soul...

I can't speak for everyone, but my Comcast receiver performs horribly. It locks up for long periods of time, specifically.

When it happens my wife and I describe the experience as 'Comcastic'.

Also, I've been faking my Comcasms for years now.

I work for Fandango....or should I say I am employdango there, and found your post amusing...

We were recently acquired by Comcast, the cable company, and they have a slogan they use in advertising called "Comcastic"....meaning "fantastic" I presume. What is the linguistic relevance / categorization of that turn of phrase, oh wise one?

Considering its uses, I suppose "dango" is more or less an equivalent of "a-go-go."
